This Homemade mango juice is delicious and healthy no sugar added, no artificial flavourings, just used mango , orange juice and water.
Sometimes we find it very difficult to give up unhealthy food that we are used to eat because we are so worried of what to replace it with. Most so called 100% juices in the supermarkets has sugar, or artificial sweeteners or flavourings and preservatives in them. Try to make your own 100% juice and compare with what you just bought and you will see the different.
So here’s a deal, it’s really easy to replace unhealthy food, just don’t expect them to taste the same way as the one you buy. It is really easy to make your own mango juice at home, it can be stored in therefrigeratorforup to 3 days. All you need is fresh mango, water, orange or lemon juice. The best things are done with our hands.
Ingredients
2 mangoes
2 cups of water or more according to the thickness you like.
1 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice, optional
You can also use lemon juice, about 1 tbsp or a little more.
Wash mangoes well and remove the skin. You can choose to leave the skin for fiber.
Chop mangoes in big chunks, place in a blender add water and orange juice blend until smooth. Serve
If you want creamy juice add less water.
This juice can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Orange or lemon juice will act as a natural preservative and will give your mango juice that beautiful colour.
