This breakfast bowl recipe is very easy and delicious. Good for your health. Give it a try and you are going to love it just the way my family does. Is there anything chickpeas cannot do? This protein packed legume can be used in so many dishes.
1 and half cup of cooked chickpeas (drained but not rinsed), mashed
2 bell peppers ( red and yellow), diced
2 small baby marrow, sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp oil
1/3 tsp of turmeric
1/2 of paprika
1/2 of coriander powder
1/3 black salt
1/3 garlic powder
In a pan over medium high heat sauté onion, bell peppers (red and yellow) and baby morrow for 2 to 3 minute or until tender.
Then add the mashed chickpeas and the rest of the ingredients. Cook stirring frequently for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve. Enjoy.
Avocado, or green salad. You can also add fresh tomatoes to the dish.
You can also serve it with brown rice or any other kind of cereal your heart desires.
