Health on a Plate



Enjoy this delicious oatmeal burgers recipe. Easy and simple.

1 1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 1/2 cup of water, you can also use vegetable broth
1/3 cup of chopped cashew nuts, or any nuts you have.
1 large onion finely chopped
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of thyme
1 tsp of ground coriander
2 tbsp of nutritional yeast, optional
1/3 tsp of salt


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

In a medium pot over medium heat, pour the water or the vegetable broth. Once it starts boiling add the oats and the rest of the ingredients. Reduce the heat and keep stirring until all liquid is absorbed. (About 3 minutes). Remove from heat and let it cool completely.

Form into patties and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (If the mixture is sticking while you’re forming patties, sprinkle some flour on your hand to avoid sticking).

Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serve in your whole wheat bun with your favourite toppings, (tomatoes, cucumber, onion, vegan mayonnaise, lettuce, etc). Enjoy
