HOMEMADE KETCHUP

Chetchup is very easy to make at home. My kids loves it, specially my son. We don’t like it to be too sweet. I just add little honey. It’s very delicious and flavourful .
Feel free to change the favouring to your liking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of fresh chopped tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp of tomato paste (I used my homemade tomato paste)
  • 1 tbsp of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove of fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder.

PREPARATION

Place fresh tomatoes in the pot, add fresh garlic, cook until tomatoes are soft. Add tomato paste and let it cook again until thicken.

Pour it the blender, add the rest of ingredients and blend until smooth.

Pour unto a small bowl let cool before serving.
Refrigerate for about 2 weeks.

There you go, how easy was that? Your own homemade ketchup, enjoy.
