Health on a Plate

HOME MADE PEANUT BUTTER

If you have a child like my daughter who loves peanut butter, then you are going to like this simple homemade peanut butter. It is cheap and tastier, once you make it, you will never go back to the store to buy peanut butter.

Why homemade?  Because it has no preservatives, no added sugar, no added harmful oils like vegetable oil. Your own homemade peanut butter is safe and nutritious.

Almost all the commercial peanut butters contain added sugars, salt, vegetable oil and often preservatives.

This recipe is so easy, all you need to do is roast your peanut, then grind it in a blender with just little oil.

I hope you will enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup roasted peanuts

3 tablespoons of soybean oil, or olive oil or coconut oil.

PREPARATION

Chop the peanuts and grind them in a blender.

Add the oil and blend again until you obtain  a thin and homogeneous cream.

Keep the cream in a glass container.

Spread on bread, you can add little honey if you want.
