Health on a Plate

Breakfast bowl. Tofu and vegan sausages

It is important to have a balanced diet meal every day.
A balanced diet is constitute by grains (cereals), nuts and vegetables. This is the food which was chosen for us by our Creator.
No food can provide all nutrients necessary for the body. The diet should include a variety of products.

Eating more fruits and vegetables, they provide good quality of plant fiber.

In this breakfast bowl, we have brown rice, tofu, vegan sausage and some slices of fresh tomatoes. It is a complete meal, it has protein, carbohydrate, and other nutrients and vitamins from broccoli and tomatoes.

Breakfast should be rich in foods that supply energy especially carbohydrates (rice, oats, barley, wheat etc) these foods should be eaten in their natural state (wholegrain and unrefined).

If the spirit of the Lord touches you, please support my ministry. I have my PayPal account here. You can also contact me on my Facebook page Dorcas Vegan kitchen. Your help will go a long way. God bless you.

One thing you should always remember is not to mix fruits and vegetables in one meal. They ferment and create indigestion.

4 vegan sausages
1 block of tofu
Steamed broccoli
1/4 of salt
1/3 garlic powder
1/3 of onion powder
1 tablespoon of oil
Pinch of turmeric powder
1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast, optional
2 tablespoons spoons of water

Brush the baking sheet with oil, and place the vegan sausages. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees, depending on your oven until sausages are slightly golden. Alternatively you can shallow fry the in a pan over medium law heat.

While sausages are baking, scramble the tofu with a fork, place a pan over medium heat, add the scrambled tofu, oil, water and the rest of ingredients. Cook stirring frequently for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and put aside.
