Health on a Plate

Breakfast bowl. Tofu and vegan sausages

It is important to have a balanced diet meal every day.
A balanced diet is constitute by grains (cereals), nuts and vegetables. This is the food which was chosen for us by our Creator.
No food can provide all nutrients necessary for the body. The diet should include a variety of products.

Eating more fruits and vegetables, they provide good quality of plant fiber.

In this breakfast bowl, we have brown rice, tofu, vegan sausage and some slices of fresh tomatoes. It is a complete meal, it has protein, carbohydrate, and other nutrients and vitamins from broccoli and tomatoes.

Breakfast should be rich in foods that supply energy especially carbohydrates (rice, oats, barley, wheat etc) these foods should be eaten in their natural state (wholegrain and unrefined).

One thing you should always remember is not to mix fruits and vegetables in one meal. They ferment and create indigestion.
