Breaded Pizza

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup whole wheat flour

1 Cup white flour

½ tsp yeast

2 table spoon of olive oil.

FOR SAUCE

1 large red onion

2 table spoon tomato paste

3 medium fresh tomatoes

Cumin powder

Salt to taste

FOR STUFFING

Chopped Mushrooms, about ½ cup

Handful of chopped celery

½ cup grape tomatoes

½ green olives

1 medium green pepper sliced

METHODS

  1. Take a bowl, add flour, salt, yeast and mix, then olive oil and water. Mix nicely to make a soft dough. Cover and let it sit for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Dust flour and roll the dough. Place it into the baking sheet and place the mixture in the center starting with tomato sauce, then mushrooms, celery, gape tomatoes, olives and green bell pepper.
  3. Make slits/cuts with the help of a sharp knife on both of longer sides. Start bringing the top most slit ends across from each other alternatively. Keep going, remember to alternate, left and right and right and left.
  4. Apply soy milk or honey on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 180° C for about 20 to 25 minutes.
  5. When done, slice and let it cool, then you can serve.
