Homemade flaxseeds gel for healthy hair

Flaxseeds, also called linseed are rich in vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids, which can help provide nourishment and intense hydration. Flaxseeds gel also promotes hair growth and improves the quality of your hair and scalp
They are a great source of protein, fiber and antioxidants. It helps repair dry and damaged hair.
It defines the curls.
It has been of great help for my daughter’s hair.

This homemade hair gel is better than store-bought gels, which are loaded with other chemicals.

Making your own hair products at home is the best. It helps you save money and the health of your hair.
You will notice that, your hair is growing healthy, shiny and fully and yet you have been spending less.

So make your own gel at home. This gel can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

How to make flaxseeds gel at home.

2 cups of water
1/4 of flaxseed
Few drops of any essential oils of your choice.

Preparation

Put the seeds and water in a small pot, and bring to a slow boil. To avoid seeds from sticking to the bottom of the pot, stir the mixture regularly.

Boil for 10 minutes, check the consistency
You will notice the mixture beginning to thicken into a soft, gel-like substance. You will also notice some foam forming at the top. Make sure the mixture is not to watery not too thin.

Remove from the heat and let it cool.

The longer it cools, the thicker the consistency.

Once it cools grab a jar or any container and prepare your strainer. If the gel is too thick to filter gradually add water and mix it in until it’s manageable

Filter your gel through the strainer and into your jar, or container. You can also use any thin cotton cloth

How to use flaxseeds gel

Take 4-5 tsp of flaxseeds gel and add few drops of any essential oil.
Apply the gel on your clean hair from root to tips. Gently massage the scalp and also apply it on your hair from roots to tips. Wear a plastic bag or shower cap.


Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse your hair with clean water.
