This mushroom and bell pepper BBQ sandwich, is very delicious. Very simple to make. For any mushroom’s lover, you’re going to love this.
I used dry black mushrooms. But you can use fresh ones. You can use also any type of mushrooms you have.
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced. I use dry black mushrooms.
- Half of green and red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 medium red onion, sliced
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/3 tsp of Salt
- 3 tbsp cup BBQ sauce
First, soak mushrooms In hot water for about 30 or incold water for an hour or until soft.
Once mushrooms are soft, wash them very well.
Ia medium bowl, toss the sliced mushrooms and the rest of the ingredients. Except the BBQ sauce
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the mushrooms mixture in a even layer.
Bake for 15 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius. After 15 minutes, remove the mushrooms from oven and mix with the 3 tbsp of BBQ sauce. Return to oven and bake again for 5 minutes. Remove from oven.
Spread the mushroom mixture between two slices of bread and top the sandwich with your favourite toppings.
